We are a Portuguese man o war
More twists and turns than a rifle bore
Whoever heard of a Siphonophore
We are a Portuguese man o war
Before the age of discovery
Winds, tides and currents set us free
Bluebottles floating, bladder and sails
Vasco de Gama's tentacle trails
Faraway Lisbon, upon dry land
Colonial forts, castles of sand
Schooner and barque, brigantine, sloop
A galleon becalmed in primordial soup
Polyps of pain, stoning the peach
Weeds of the sea, storming the beach
Blooming, mushrooming, corps of marines
Algorithims of a shipwrecked dream
I still play the entire album on repeat. For me, this album has a unique and rare power. That being said, Touche Amore are simply an amazing band Yellow Hammer
